UGC New Guidelines For Degree Students NEP-2020
UGC new guidelines:
BA, BCom, BSc students … now you have that chance ….., UGC has come up with innovative plans to prepare students to adapt to the current competitive world, As part of this, BA, BSc and BCom students can also get internships like engineering and management students.
To this end, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued Apprenticeship / Internship guidelines for degree courses. Accordingly, colleges, universities .. A full semester of the course should be allocated for internship – internship / apprenticeship
As part of National education policy-2020:
Internships in degree courses will be introduced as part of the new National Education Policy (NEP) introduced by the Center. The UGC Commission has directed universities to allocate 20 per cent of the total course credits for students’ talents in internships. A large number of students enroll in General Degree Courses in India every year (BA, BCom, BSc).

However, even after completing the courses, there are not many job opportunities outside of them. So it has been argued for a long time that students should not be limited to just academics … even internships should offer job opportunities in the market. According to the latest guidelines, students pursuing any degree course are eligible for an internship / apprenticeship.An internship, however, is not a program offered on campus. Internship is a practical training given to students in commercial or non-commercial organizations. Students will have the opportunity to join an internship in a field of their choice.
The Institution gives him credits based on the student’s performance during the internship period. For those who excel in Turnship .. then job and employment opportunities can be easily secured , Credits for the internship .
